**Police Use Water Jets on Protesters**

The special forces have started using water jets to control the crowd in front of the Georgian Parliament.

Earlier, protesters had been throwing pyrotechnics and shining lasers at the police. Now, the situation is getting more intense.

Police have set up a cordon on April 9 Street and Chichinadze Street, near the Parliament. Some officers are standing with shields inside the Parliament building.

There’s also a large police presence in Freedom Square, where special equipment has been stationed.
