Zura Bakuradze was one of the members in the ensemble “Georgian Voices” that died tragically in Racha.
According to reports, a road collapsed in Shkmeri village, and the singer fell into a ravine while walking. Rescuers recovered his body.
Georgian Voices, a singing group founded in 1986, has toured the globe ever since. They sing pre-Christian songs, old round dancing songs, medieval Christian hymns and work songs. They also sing lofty drinking songs and amazing polyphony typical of Guria.
