The Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport recorded a record passenger traffic increase of 415% in October compared to the previous year. The number of flights from the airport increased by 325%.
The Airports Union of Georgia reports 164,176 passengers using Kutaisi Airport in comparison to 31,898 by 2022.
Kutaisi International Airport is adding a fourth Wizz Air aircraft based in Kutaisi and a Copenhagen flight route from December 2023.
Currently, five airlines fly from Kutaisi International Airport to 35 destinations in eighteen countries.
