 Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Georgia for the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, according to information released by the Georgian Government Administration.
The statement notes that the meeting focused on the friendly and neighborly relations between Georgia and Armenia. The Georgian Prime Minister thanked his Armenian counterpart for participating in the forum.
According to the press service, the discussions covered trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Armenia, highlighting Armenia’s role as one of Georgia’s largest trading partners.
Following the meeting, Irakli Kobakhidze posted on X that, ahead of the fifth Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, he had a productive meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The head of government noted that the parties discussed key issues of bilateral and regional cooperation during the meeting.
“I am confident that this meeting will further strengthen cooperation between Georgia and Armenia,” stated Irakli Kobakhidze.
