Georgia was not invited to the ministerial-level meeting on cross-regional security and connectivity, Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said in response to a question from Euroscope editor Tamar Nutsubidze at the press conference following the conclusion of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg.
The EU High Representative also answered Euroscop’s question about sanctions.
“As you know, we have proposed several measures under different sanctions regime. So far, we have not been able to adopt them because of not all member states being supportive. When it comes to the visas, the commission will present its visa suspension mechanism later this year, then also putting forward regulations for certain groups.
