We need to find a difficult solution of negotiation and agreement for differences, not a simple solution of confrontation and division – do not turn this cursed October 4 into an endless day. Please turn it over, – Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Changes, writes in a letter sent from prison.
According to Nika Gvaramia, the protest on October 4 was not defeated, and this is confirmed by the adoption of “draconian laws” by the Dream.
“When the common goal is as great as it is now, and it is called saving the homeland, we must find a difficult solution to differences through negotiation and agreement, and not a simple solution through confrontation and division.
History will not remember such insignificant details as who differed from whom in what way, who walked the right path and who went in a zigzag. History will record us all together and equally as generations who won the decisive battle for the homeland or were defeated in this battle.
P.S. The Dream sentenced us to spatial imprisonment, but they could not stop time for us – political prisoners. Maybe we can all be considerate and not sentence us to time imprisonment. Do not turn this damned October 4 – the day of the 2 unsuccessful special operations of the State Security Service – into an endless day. Please turn it over.
And the fact that protest was not defeated on October 4 (which may not equal the progress of the protest, but it certainly equals the defeat of the Dream) and they themselves confirmed it: the winners do not adopt dragon laws, as they are now doing,” Nika Gvaramia writes.
