One of the leaders of the Federalists, Tamar Chergoleishvili, says that she has been summoned to the police for questioning.
Chergoleishvili says that as a witness she has nothing to say and will give an answer in court, but the time is not yet known.
Presumably, the case concerns the October 4 rally, as well as Tamar Chergoleishvili’s statement that she made regarding former Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaia.
“Bidzina Ivanishvili’s criminal police are summoning me for questioning.
As a witness, I really have nothing to say – the witness’s testimony cannot be based on public information, conclusions made within the framework of common sense.
I will answer the questions in court – I do not know the time and date yet.
I want you to know what I am going to say, because the fake “revolutionaries” have unleashed the dirtiest campaign, as if I am inciting the arrest of Bacho Akhalaia.
I am going to say what I have said many times:
There is no case of overthrow, or coup d’état!
There is a case of extremely irresponsible and shameless people!
There is no basis for the accusation of coup d’état – which dozens of people have been charged with and deprived of their freedom.
As for the issue of Bacho Akhalaia, specifically his involvement in this case and the related controversy in the National Movement – any intelligent person who is familiar with any case would have drawn the same conclusion from the publicly disseminated information – primarily from the statements of Levan Khabeishvili, Ani Nadareishvili and Tina Bokuchava and the comments on these statements.
As a witness, I have nothing to say.
As a politician, I consider it necessary to expose this total irresponsibility, because it is vital for national interests to avoid such things in the future, so that we can actually (and not illusorily) remove Ivanishvili’s regime from our country,” Chergoleishvili writes.
For information, the leader of the Federalists, Tamar Chergoleishvili, stated on the air of Formula that “meetings were held at Bacho Akhalaia’s house regarding October 4, and there was a confrontation within the National Movement about this, moreover, there was communication with Saakashvili on this topic.”
