“You will not capture Georgia!” – this is the slogan of the rally-march from Vera Park to the Parliament.
The participants of the rally are demanding that new elections be called and those detained during the protest be released.
The participants of the rally are unfurling the flags of Georgia and the European Union. They are carrying a banner with the inscriptions: “Don’t dare! You will not bring back Soviet terror! We are Georgia! You will not intimidate us! You will not capture us all!”.
The participants of the rally are wearing striped clothes, which, according to them, they wore as a symbol of support for the detained people.
As part of the rally-performance, they also tied up barbed wire.
As they explain, today’s demonstration-performance is a sign that the government has “put barbed wire around the country and the Georgian Dream is a Russian regime.” At today’s demonstration, specific excerpts from the appeals of imprisoned citizens were read and demonstrators expressed their support towards them.
The participants of the demonstration are chanting: “You cannot defeat us, you cannot arrest us, we will still break these barbed wires.”
