According to him, considering “how little support the opposition enjoys,” this number of demonstrators is not surprising.
“You see what the number is, this gathering of the radical opposition looks very weak, therefore, I think that this gathering will be dispersed cheerfully. This is my only assessment that I can make. You can see the footage, how many people there are in Freedom Square – very few. It is visible that there are very few. This is a tragic situation that exists in the radical opposition, in the collective National Movement. This is an ordinary party rally that was announced. Given the meager support that the collective National Movement enjoys, of course, no other result was expected,” Kobakhidze said.
