“We must end the Russian regime on October 4,” stated Levan Bezhashvili, one of the leaders of the “United National Movement,” to journalists.
He called on society not to participate in the local self-government elections on October 4.
“October 4 is another Russian special operation day, when ‘Georgian Dream’ somehow needs to gain legitimacy within society and with international partners, to show that some kind of electoral process is taking place in the country. This is needed by ‘Georgian Dream.’ Every person, including politicians and ordinary citizens, should think about whether they want to participate in Ivanishvili’s game. We once again call on society and ordinary citizens not to participate in this Russian special operation on October 4. Even entering the polling station territory means crossing the line and participating in Ivanishvili’s game; we must not give the regime the opportunity or the pleasure to do this. There is an opinion that we go and cross everyone, or that opposition votes should not be wasted. There are no elections, there are no opposition votes. The election results are predetermined. Therefore, no citizen should participate in this Russian special operation. We call on everyone not to go to the so-called polling stations,” Bezhashvili stated.
As he noted, on October 4, the day of the local self-government elections, the rule of “Georgian Dream” must end.
“We must end the Russian regime on October 4. End the life of ‘Georgian Dream’ officials and their family members at the expense of the people. End corruption in the country, return to Europe, and make October 4 the day of the Georgian people’s victory,” Bezhashvili stated.
