According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, there is no connection whatsoever between “Georgian Dream” MP Irakli Zarkua’s nephew and Lagi Capital, whose executives were detained on charges of fraudulently appropriating over 9 million GEL belonging to the state and legalizing illegal income.
According to Kakha Kaladze, the aforementioned company had been sold off years ago.
“It’s false, incorrect information! Zarkua’s nephew has no connection to this company at all. Years ago, this company was sold off and is in private ownership. The aforementioned company belongs to other individuals and was sold off years ago,” Kaladze noted.
As a reminder, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained the executives of the school and kindergarten construction company Lagi Capital in the regions of Georgia on charges of fraudulently appropriating over 9 million GEL belonging to the state and legalizing illegal income.
