Some European bureaucrats are devoid of justice, have no connection with Europe, with its values. Their statements are saturated with political narratives, all of this is based on lies, on slander. They continue to make threatening statements, – this is how the mayor of the capital, the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream Kakha Kaladze responded to the statements made concerning Georgia at the briefing held at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
As Kaladze notes, “these people referred to the period before 2012 as a beacon of democracy.”

In addition, Kakha Kaladze was asked a question regarding the Moldovan elections. When asked whether he would congratulate Maia Sandu on her victory in the elections, Kaladze replied: “Where are they?! Where are they at all – in the CIS.”
For information, at the briefing held at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe yesterday, UK MP James MacCleary said that the current situation in Georgia is unacceptable and he called on the Georgian Dream to stop its “regression towards authoritarianism”.
