Any ruler must obey the will of the people, – this statement was made by Petre Tsiskarishvili, Secretary General of the National Movement Party, when speaking of a rally planned for October 4.
According to Tsiskarishvili, the Georgian Dream party, knowing the real mood of society towards it, is afraid.
“Since the Georgian Dream party does not have the legitimacy of the people, knowing that they seized power through rigged and stolen elections, they are looking at the streets and constantly trying to silence their opponents, imprison them, and isolate them. This is their tool and weapon of struggle. They are afraid because they know the public’s attitude towards them, and to neutralize the fear, they are trying to lock up all activists and opponents in prison, so that the result that the Georgian people actually want does not come,” said Petre Tsiskarishvili.
