The 5th President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has left for Poland today, where she will participate in the Warsaw Security Forum, together with world leaders.
According to the press service, Salome Zurabishvili will deliver a speech at the panel discussion – “The European Union: The Next Step in Enlargement” and will address the participants as the keynote speaker.
“The panel discussion will also include the French Minister for European Affairs; Prime Minister of Moldova in 2021–2023; Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro; Chairwoman of the Committee on European Integration of the Ukrainian Parliament; Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration in 2016–2019; and the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Slovakia.
Salome Zurabishvili, along with representatives of the EU, the US, the UK, France, Ukraine and Lithuania, will attend an official dinner hosted by the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, in honor of the conference participants.
President Zurabishvili is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion on “The Unyielding Struggle for Democratic Sovereignty in a Hostile Neighborhood.” On the same day, she will be the key speaker at the discussion on “Women for Advancing Global Security.”
Bilateral meetings are scheduled within the framework of the conference with the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, as well as with representatives of France and the United Kingdom.
Interviews with international media representatives are planned within the framework of the visit,” reads the information.
