The scheme has already been deciphered, according to which the funds received through the NGO sector were used to organize revolutions, divide society and attempt a coup d’état – now they have started to bring funds through universities, although everything will be solved, – the incumbent mayor of the capital and mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze stated, responding to the information spread by the Imedi Kviris newspaper that the protest rallies are being financed by the University of Georgia and the former head of the Co-Investment Fund, Giorgi Bachiashvili.
According to Kaladze, “the financing of rallies by Bachiashvili is nothing new.”

Everything will be responded to within the framework of the law.
[Bachiashvili’s financing of the rallies] is nothing new. He himself did not deny it. He was involved in political processes from the beginning to the end and thus tried to somehow cover up his crime,” Kaladze said.
In addition, Kaladze responded to the rally planned by some opposition parties for October 4 and noted that “nothing will happen, on October 4 we will celebrate the victory of the only Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia, which will be the victory of our country and the Georgian people.”
