We do not discriminate between businessmen on political grounds or any other grounds. As for Noshiko Namoradze, I have a personal relationship with him, including I had communication with him recently – I do not know if he is in the country or not, – Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists, responding to the information that businessman Noshrevan Namoradze has left Georgia, as well as the information that Namoradze’s project “will no longer benefit.”
As Kobakhidze noted, the state expresses support for any business, including Noshiko Namoradze.
“[Regarding Noshiko Namoradze’s construction projects] I don’t think any approach has changed. As for business, there will be full support for business. There will be full support for any businessman who submits proposals based on the law. There are many businessmen, including those who directly express support for the opposition, and the attitude towards them is absolutely equal, and this is one of our most important achievements. We do not discriminate between businessmen on political grounds or any other grounds. As for Noshiko Namoradze himself, I have a personal relationship with him, including communication with him recently, many times. I don’t know if he is in the country or not. The man is a businessman, he may go to Britain, he may return, it’s a normal thing. It’s not my authority to control who goes where, this is their personal business. The state expresses support for any business, including, of course, the state will be fully supportive of Noshiko Namoradze,” he said.
