Salome Samadashvili and politicians like her are actually Bidzina Ivanishvili’s lifeline – such politicians of parquet will never defeat the authoritarian regime, – said the Deputy Secretary General of the National Movement, Irakli Pavlenishvili. With this, Pavlenishvili responded to the statement of one of the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Salome Samadashvili, according to which, on October 4, “everyone who does not come to the local elections will help Bidzina Ivanishvili”.
“Salome Samadashvili and politicians like her are actually Bidzina Ivanishvili’s lifeline, everyone has known this well in recent years. Such politicians of parquet will never defeat the authoritarian regime and that is why they are angry with those people who are actually fighting authoritarianism”, – said Irakli Pavlenishvili.
Pavlenishvili also spoke about the planned rally on October 4.
“We are joining the October 4 rally, and we are not the only ones joining it, this is a general public rally, which is joined by many political and social protest groups. October 4 is a very important date in the history of our country because the issue of establishment of dictatorship is being decided. Yes, the issue is being decided now – whether a dictatorship will be established in Georgia or not. Therefore, of course, October 4 is very important, but in terms of street protests and protest speeches, and not in terms of the pseudo-special operation and the pseudo-political process that Ivanishvili is trying to create,” Irakli Pavlenishvili said.
