 The Ukrainian Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement regarding two Ukrainian citizens suspected of illegally transporting the explosive substance “hexogen.”
According to the statement, the embassy has not received official information from the Georgian side regarding the initiation of a criminal case against them on these charges. It is noted that the embassy’s consular staff are taking comprehensive measures to obtain permission from Georgian law enforcement agencies to meet with the Ukrainian citizens.
“The Ukrainian Embassy in Georgia is continuously monitoring information published in the Georgian media regarding the ‘detention of two Ukrainian citizens suspected by Georgian law enforcement of illegally transporting the explosive substance hexogen.’
