European ambassadors should not present themselves to Georgian society as ambassadors of hatred. Today, this is the case, a large part of ambassadors present themselves to Georgian society as ambassadors of hatred, – Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to him, it is important that ambassadors act in good faith.
“In reality, today, in the eyes of the Georgian people, European bureaucracy is associated with radicalism, violence, disregard for democracy, and all these wrong developments that we see on the side of European bureaucracy. Of course, it directly negatively affects the image and reputation of not only European bureaucracy, but also the European Union in the eyes of our society. This process must be stopped, for this it is important that ambassadors behave, first of all, conscientiously, in accordance with the Vienna Convention, and not blatantly incite radicalism and hatred in our country in the eyes of society. European ambassadors should notpresent themselves to the Georgian society as ambassadors of hatred. Today, this is the case, a large part of ambassadors present themselves to the Georgian society as ambassadors of hatred. This is a very sad reality. Once again, it negatively affects the image of the European Union in Georgia and this process must be stopped,” Kobakhidze said.
