The protest has resumed in front of Parliament on Rustaveli Avenue. On the 290th day of the protest, participants blocked the roadway.
Previously, under the slogan “No to the Russian regime! Defend visa-free,” protest participants gathered near Tbilisi State University and marched to Parliament.
During the march, they stopped near the election headquarters of Kakha Kaladze, the “Georgian Dream” candidate for Tbilisi Mayor, then circled Freedom Square and concluded the march in front of Parliament.
Leaders, members of various opposition parties, and citizens are present at the protest.
Participants have brought banners with various messages and flags of Georgia and the European Union.
Police are mobilized at the scene.
