By the decision of Mikheil Kavelashvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Gela Geladze, and his deputy, Roland Meskhi, were awarded the rank of Major General of the Police.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the above at a government session.

Today, by the decision of the President, he will be awarded the rank of Major General of the Police, which he deserves. I wish him success in the future. I would also like to note that the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Roland Meskhi, will also be awarded the rank of Major General.
