Giorgi Gakharia is so impudent that he can be a resident of another country and ask for votes from the population of this country – the processes are developing in such a way that after the local government elections, their entry into parliament will happen quite naturally, – the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Nino Tsilosani, told journalists.
According to her, the parliamentary elections were held in compliance with the rules and a political group that intends to remain in politics must participate in parliamentary life.
“Giorgi Gakharia is so impudent that he can be a resident of another country and ask for votes from the population of this country. This describes him and his political group well. As for entering parliament, their failure to remove the lists and their hidden desire to participate in parliamentary life may have been logical, because the parliamentary elections were held in accordance with the rules and a political group that intends to remain in politics must participate in parliamentary life. On the other hand, they could not withstand the pressure that existed in the radical opposition and, out of mutual suspicion, none of them dared to enter parliament. The processes are developing in such a way that their entry into parliament will occur quite naturally after the local government elections,” said Nino Tsilosani.
For information, the leader of Gakharia for Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, does not rule out that 12 members of his team will receive mandates in the Georgian Parliament, although he states that “this will be directly related” to the political environment in the country after the municipal elections.
