“I am impressed and inspired by the courageous people of Geotgia fighting for its independence, sovereignty, democracy and for Europe,” wrote Sheraz Gasri, the French Ambassador to Georgia, on the social platform X.
“Last visit to Didgori memorial to pay tribute to the heroes of 1121 “miraculous” battle and Georgia’s combattive and victorious spirit. Forever impressed and inspired by the courageous people of Geotgia fighting for its independence, sovereignty, democracy and for Europe ,” Gasri wrote.
As a reminder, French President Emmanuel Macron appointed Olivier Courteau as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary at the beginning of August. Sheraz Gasri’s term as ambassador has concluded.
