 According to the final results of the 2025 Unified National Examinations, more than 31,700 applicants have earned the right to continue their studies at higher education institutions, representing approximately 88% of the candidates eligible for enrollment.
As stated in the information released by the National Assessment and Examinations Center, more than 6,500 applicants received state grants.
“The National Assessment and Examinations Center has published the final results of the 2025 Unified National Examinations. This year, more than 31,700 applicants gained the right to continue their studies at higher education institutions, which constitutes approximately 88% of the candidates eligible for enrollment.
In 2025, more than 11,600 candidates were funded. More than 6,500 applicants received state grants, of which over 1,000 applicants received a 100% state grant, more than 1,400 received a 70% grant, and over 4,000 applicants received a 50% grant. Up to 5,000 candidates were enrolled in state-funded higher education programs. More than 1,700 applicants will continue their studies in Georgian language preparation programs, with over 700 candidates funded.
The results of appeals for the General Master’s Examination and the Teacher and Prospective Teacher Examinations will be announced in the coming days.
In 2025, a total of 24 examination centers were opened across Georgia. Over 80,000 applicants registered for the examinations, including more than 39,000 applicants for the Unified National Examinations; over 2,400 students expressed interest in participating in the student grant competition; more than 10,000 candidates for master’s programs registered for the General Master’s Examination; and over 24,300 applicants registered for the Teacher and Prospective Teacher Examinations.
The National Assessment and Examinations Center reminds applicants that they must contact the higher education institution where they have earned the right to study in order to sign the necessary contract,” the statement reads.
