**Russia’s Latest Attack on Kharkiv Leaves 10 Injured, Including Children**
A devastating Russian drone attack hit the northeastern city of Kharkiv last night, injuring at least 10 people, including a 5-month-old baby and two young boys. The attack targeted a residential building in the Kyivskyi district, with emergency services still operating on the scene.
According to Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov, the victims include the infant, as well as a 9-year-old and 10-year-old boy. Five of the injured have been hospitalized, while the others are receiving medical attention at the scene.
This latest attack is just the latest in a string of relentless aerial assaults on Kharkiv, which has suffered greatly throughout Russia’s full-scale war. The city, located just 30 kilometers from the Russian border, has been targeted with missiles and glide bombs, often hitting densely populated neighborhoods.

The attack comes after one of the deadliest Russian strikes on Kyiv this year, which killed 31 people and injured 159 on July 31. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the strike had injured more children than any previous attack on the capital since the start of the invasion.
The scale of these attacks has led to international condemnation, with U.S. President Donald Trump calling Russia’s actions “disgusting.” He warned that if Russia fails to agree to peace terms within eight days, it will face additional U.S. sanctions.
