**Russia’s Ukraine Campaign Continues with Heavy Attacks**
Over the past 24 hours, Russian attacks across Ukraine have resulted in the deaths of at least three civilians and injured 45 more. The most recent wave of violence comes as Ukrainian authorities report widespread damage to residential areas, infrastructure, and civilian life.
**Drones Dominate Russian Assaults**
Russian forces launched a total of 42 Shahed-type attack drones overnight, primarily from Russia and occupied Crimea. Ukraine’s Air Force reported that at least 26 drones were shot down, with seven more lost or suppressed by electronic warfare systems. The majority of these drones were first-person-view (FPV) models.
**Donetsk Oblast Takes Brunt**
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces killed three people over the past day, including a child in Kramatorsk. A guided bomb strike hit a residential building in the town, killing the child and injuring eight others. This brings the total number of injured in the region to 17.
**Other Regions Hit Harder**
In Sumy Oblast, drone and air strikes injured at least 15 civilians. Eleven people were injured in the Putyvl community in a drone strike, while four others were wounded in Sumy city by a guided bomb attack. Two children were among the injured.
Kherson Oblast saw heavy drone and artillery attacks on residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, leaving seven people injured. Multiple houses, vehicles, and a theater were damaged. In Kharkiv Oblast, three people were injured, including two people in Kupiansk and Ivano-Shyichyne, and a person wounded by an explosive device in Verbivka.
**Widespread Damage Reported**
Across Ukraine, nearly 70 attacks on 32 settlements resulted in significant damage to residential areas, infrastructure, vehicles, and civilian life. A shopping center was also damaged in one of the regions hit by Russian forces.
