**Denmark to Provide Satellite Communication Services to Ukraine’s Military**

Poland has been financing half of Ukraine’s 42,000 Starlink terminals at a cost of around $50 million per year. Germany also reportedly finances Ukraine’s access to satellite internet operated by French company Eutelsat. However, Poland has stated that it will look for alternative suppliers if SpaceX (the operator of Starlink) turns out to be an unreliable provider.

Denmark is the first country to finance satellite communication services through the EU’s European Defense Agency. This move reflects a deeper cooperation between Copenhagen and Kyiv, who have been working closely together to counter Russian aggression.
