**Russian Forces Strike Kyiv Region, Leaving Devastation in Their Wake**

According to reports from the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) damaged a school building, residential buildings, and several vehicles in the Boryspil district. Emergency services documented the aftermath of the attack, which also affected a boiler facility, a store, a cultural center, and a private house.
**No Casualties Reported**
Despite the severity of the attack, there were no reported casualties among the population. However, multiple private homes and stores suffered significant damage, with doors and windows blown out and facades riddled with debris. A car was also damaged in the Brovary district as a result of the attack.
**Makariv Community Affected**
The Makariv community in the Buchansky district was also attacked by Russian drones, resulting in damage to six private houses and one car. According to Vadym Tokar, head of the community, “Tonight, the Makarivska community was attacked by enemy UAVs. As a result of the night attack, six private houses and one car were damaged by UAV debris in one of the settlements of the community.”
**Widespread Destruction**
The attack on July 5 was part of a larger wave of strikes that targeted multiple regions of Ukraine. In Kyiv, air defense forces successfully repelled a Russian attack, but not before 26 residents were injured, including a 10-year-old girl who lost her life. Rescuers extinguished fires in six districts and reported significant destruction.
