**Ukraine’s Military Chief Takes Action to Protect Troops from Russian Missile Attacks**
In a move aimed at preventing further casualties, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has ordered an end to the concentration of troops and equipment at training facilities. This decision comes in response to a series of deadly Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian military training grounds.
According to reports, Syrskyi gave strict orders to ensure the safety of service members at training centers and grounds, stating that the concentration of personnel and military equipment is “prohibited.” This move follows a string of devastating Russian missile strikes against Ukrainian military targets, resulting in numerous killed and injured service members.
The increased scrutiny on the military command has been mounting since these attacks. In May, former Ground Forces Commander Mykhailo Drapatyi promised to address this issue but resigned after another attack occurred at a shooting range in Sumy Oblast, killing six soldiers and injuring a dozen more.
Syrskyi emphasized that new shelters and protective structures are being constructed at training facilities. He also stressed the importance of mandatory compliance with shelter requirements and proper notification of air raid alerts.
A recent Russian missile attack on June 22 killed three soldiers and injured 14 at the training ground of a Ukrainian mechanized brigade. This incident highlights the need for enhanced safety measures to protect troops from such attacks.
The order by Syrskyi aims to prevent similar tragedies in the future, demonstrating his commitment to safeguarding the lives of service members.
