**Leader of “Lelo – Strong Georgia” Refuses to Cooperate with Illegitimate Commission**
Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of “Lelo – Strong Georgia,” has made it clear that he and his team will not participate in the work of an illegitimate commission. This statement comes after being summoned to appear before a parliament-created body.
Khazaradze stated that he refuses to comply with the commission because the current parliament is illegitimate. He emphasized that they were the first to refuse to attend this unconstitutionally created parliament, and since then, political persecution began. Khazaradze also mentioned that he was summoned a second time, and his team gave a clear response immediately.
This situation has led Khazaradze to declare that there is no force that can diminish their resolve, spirit, or fight, or push them towards any compromise. He stated that regardless of any decision made by the commission, including possible imprisonment, he will continue to send this message clearly to Bidzina Ivanishvili: “There is no force that can make me and my team fear you.”
Khazaradze’s statements highlight the ongoing struggle between him and his team against what they perceive as illegitimate forces in Georgian politics. He emphasized that their fight is for the country’s future, freedom, and integration with the free world.
**No Intention of Leaving the Country**
In a bold declaration, Khazaradze stated that he has no intention of leaving the country, despite being pursued for 5 years to impose a 12-year sentence. He emphasized that they did not leave the country then, and they will not do so now. This statement demonstrates the team’s commitment to continuing their fight against what they see as occupation.
Khazaradze also expressed his solidarity with Zurab Japaridze, a friend and comrade-in-arms who is also part of this struggle. He declared that wherever they may be, they will continue the fight for Georgia’s liberation from occupation.
**A Message to Bidzina Ivanishvili**
Khazaradze’s statements are clearly targeted at Bidzina Ivanishvili, a key figure in Georgian politics. By emphasizing their refusal to cooperate with the illegitimate commission and their commitment to fighting for the country’s future, Khazaradze is sending a strong message: there is no force that can make them fear or compromise.
As tensions continue to rise between these opposing forces, one thing is clear: the fight for Georgia’s future has only just begun.
