**Kote Ioseliani Summoned for Questioning in Alleged Abduction Case**
Former member of the “United National Movement,” Kote Ioseliani, has been called to answer questions at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This confirmation was made by the investigative agency, Interpressnews.
The summons likely relates to a recent statement made by his wife, Tina Bokuchava, who is the Chair of the “United National Movement.” In her statement, she claimed that Kote Ioseliani was attacked and abducted near their residential building. According to Bokuchava, five masked individuals ambushed him, attacked him, and held him captive for eight hours.
During this time, they allegedly pressured him, threatening the safety of their children. Bokuchava also stated that her husband was taken to a building known as the “Module,” where he was held for several hours.
**The Motive Behind the Incident**
Bokuchava believes that the true motive behind the alleged abduction was to intimidate and silence her husband. This is in response to a video released by Kote Ioseliani, in which he apologized to Uta Ivanishvili, son of Bidzina Ivanishvili, for remarks made several years ago.
**Investigation Underway**
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has summoned Kote Ioseliani for questioning. This development comes as the agency investigates Bokuchava’s claims. The outcome of this investigation will shed light on the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction and pressure exerted on Kote Ioseliani.
