**Russia’s Ongoing Attacks on Ukraine Claim Lives, Injure Dozens**
Over the past day, Russian attacks across Ukraine have resulted in at least seven civilian deaths and 47 injuries, according to regional authorities. The assaults demonstrate Russia’s continued refusal to accept an unconditional ceasefire, instead escalating its drone attacks against Ukrainian residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
**Drones Wreak Havoc Across Ukraine**
Russian forces launched a staggering 71 Shahed-type attack drones and decoy drones overnight, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 59 of them. Despite this, 12 drones managed to hit six different locations, causing significant damage and disruption. In one area, the wreckage of a shot-down drone was recorded.
**Zaporizhzhia Among Areas Hit**
The city of Zaporizhzhia was among those targeted by Russian forces. At least 20 people were injured when guided aerial bombs struck a busy bus station and a university medical clinic on August 10. In another incident, a 66-year-old woman was injured in the village of Bilenke on August 11.
**Multiple Regions Affected**
The attacks were not limited to Zaporizhzhia. Russian artillery and drone strikes hit several other regions, including Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where three people were injured. In Nikopol district, a 63-year-old man was wounded, and a vacation resort, four cars, and a house were damaged.
**Donetsk and Kharkiv Oblasts Also Affected**
In Donetsk Oblast, two civilians were killed and 11 injured in Russian attacks. The casualties included one person killed and two injured in Druzhkivka, one killed in Chernihivka, and three injured in Bilozerske. In Kharkiv Oblast, a man was killed and five people, including a minor, were injured.
**Kherson Oblast Suffers Heavy Losses**
The worst-hit region was Kherson Oblast, where four people were killed and seven injured in Russian attacks. Two apartment buildings and 30 houses were damaged, highlighting the devastating impact of these assaults on civilian infrastructure.

These attacks come as Moscow continues to reject an unconditional ceasefire and escalates its drone attacks against Ukrainian residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
